The Local Area: Perfect for either relaxing or for an active water-sports holiday our spacious 4- bedroom house sits in between the small town of Plouezec and Port Lazo. An eight minute walk leads you to beautiful cliff-top paths and a secluded cove, or a five minute drive takes you to the flat spacious, sandy beach of Brehec with bars and restaurants for all.
With its centre built around the church square and a weekly market each Saturday.
The Coast of Goelo (to the east) and the Pink Granite Coast (north and west) are on your doorstep, with so much to explore and see and do. A ten minute drive takes you to the fishing port and marina at Paimpol. With its rich maritime history, Paimpol is a popular tourist resort with boat trips to take you to the beautiful nature reserve of the Ile de Brehat or into the River Trieux, a steam railway along the river estuary to Pontrieux, and a working Monastery at Beauport. The many harbour-side and town restaurants cater for all tastes from local seafood and crepes to Mexican fajitas.
The pretty and historic towns of Plouha and Pontrieux are just fifteen minutes away, and there is a traditional French market every day of the week in one of the local towns. The zoo park at Tregomeur and the Gallic village, Planetarium and Cite des Telcoms at Pleumeur- Bodou offer great family days out. Karting du Leff and other sports are available within the immediate area for older children.
